About Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery
Four Daughters Vineyard and Winery is the largest winery in Minnesota, a sprawling estate in the bluff country of southeastern Minnesota near Spring Valley, about 30 minutes south of Rochester. Founded in 2010 by the Vogt family as a continuation of their farming tradition, the operation has grown rapidly from a startup into a nationally recognized producer. The winery, cidery, restaurant, and event center share a modern campus that includes a six-acre vineyard and production facilities large enough to support statewide distribution. The wines have earned the Minnesota Governor's Cup and Double Gold at the Indy Wine Competition, and the products have appeared at events from the Country Music Awards after-parties to the Sundance Film Festival. Beyond the wine program, Four Daughters produces Loon Juice hard cider, which has become one of the best-known cider brands in the Upper Midwest, and The Traditionalist Bourbon from an on-site distillery.
The tasting room offers daily flights featuring both sparkling and estate varietal wines side by side, and the restaurant serves an ever-changing menu designed to pair with the current releases. The atmosphere leans toward casual elegance, blending Minnesota hospitality with a polish that surprises visitors expecting a simple country winery. Four Daughters is open daily, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and serves as a natural stop for visitors heading to or from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
