About Frequency Wine Company

Frequency Wine Company is a family-owned Santa Barbara winery led by winemaker Zac Wasserman, a Santa Ynez Valley native who interned under Joey Tensley of Tensley Wines before launching his own label around 2010. The whole family is in on it, with Zac's wife Nicole and his mother Maria familiar faces in the tasting room.

The focus is single-vineyard Santa Barbara County wines with a Rhone heart: fruit-driven Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre joined by less common bottlings like Graciano, plus Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay from the acclaimed Radian vineyard. An Artist Series pairs limited releases with work by California artists displayed on the tasting room walls.

The tasting room sits at 804 Anacapa Street in downtown Santa Barbara's historic Presidio neighborhood, in one of the district's iconic buildings, with an expansive patio for lingering. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, though reservations are encouraged, and parties of six or more should book ahead.
