Glacial Ridge Winery is located near Spicer in the Green Lake area of west-central Minnesota, producing wines from cold-hardy grape varieties grown in the glacially sculpted landscape that gives the winery its name. The region's rolling hills and chain of lakes create a scenic backdrop for the tasting room, and the winery has become a popular stop for visitors to the Spicer and New London area. The wine lineup features both dry and sweet styles made from Minnesota-adapted grape varieties, and the tasting room offers a welcoming space for sampling. Glacial Ridge is a natural addition to a west-central Minnesota wine tour that might also include Carlos Creek in Alexandria and Rolling Forks in Glenwood.
