About Hatfield Creek Winery
Hatfield Creek Winery pours along Highway 78 in Ramona, on a property that doubles as a small museum. A Carriage House holds a Model A, a vintage teardrop trailer, a Civil War era drum and a Pacific Northwest Native art collection, while the vineyard itself sits on the site of an ancient native village and carries a Navy pilot memorial and a meditation labyrinth.
Estate wines include Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, the Fonzi Field Blend, the Happy Daze Winemaker's Blend and a Bonbon dessert wine, alongside locally sourced Syrah, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon; every one of them entered into competition has come home with a medal. The tasting room is open Friday through Sunday, pet friendly and handicap accessible, with picnics welcome and groups up to 30 people, or The Table for 16, available by calling ahead.
