About Helwig Winery
Helwig is Shenandoah Valley's showpiece venue: the Helwig family built a hilltop destination with a tasting pavilion, wine cave and a natural-bowl amphitheater whose summer concert series became an Amador institution, all surrounding estate plantings of Zinfandel, Barbera and Rhone varieties.
The panoramic deck over the valley makes it the region's event capital, weddings to headline shows, with approachable wines to match. Amador with a stage.
