Hip Chicks Do Wine has poured in Southeast Portland's Brooklyn neighborhood since the urban-winery idea was new, an unpretentious, fruit-forward counterpoint to valley formality.
Weekend hours keep it simple: Friday afternoons through Sunday, walk in, taste widely, skip the ceremony.
It remains the easiest introduction to Portland's city-winery scene, and the least self-serious pour in Oregon wine.
