Inman Family Wines

Inman Family Wines is one of the Russian River Valley's most principled and genuinely personal wine estates. Kathleen Inman — who grew up in a teetotalling Napa Valley family, discovered wine through a transformative European tasting experience, and redirected her professional life entirely toward wine production — founded the estate in 2000 on Russian River Valley land near Santa Rosa that she farms biodynamically as the Olivet Grange vineyard.

The wine program reflects Kathleen's exceptional curiosity: Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir are the estate anchors, but the program extends to Rosé, sparkling wines made using méthode champenoise, and even vermouth — one of California's very few estate vermouth programs, produced from biodynamic estate herbs and wine. Every wine is a direct expression of Kathleen's farming philosophy and her conviction that biodynamic estate viticulture produces wines of genuine character that certified conventional farming cannot replicate.
