About Julie's Dream Winery Vineyards & Distillery
Julie's Dream Winery is a small family winery, vineyard and distillery on Calle Contento, set on 25 acres of estate vines in the heart of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Established in 2018 by Julie and Jerry Damewood and opened to visitors in 2023, the project began as the dream of Julie's late father, a real estate developer with a hospitality background, and the family carries it forward with a tasting room that proudly displays their shared passion for fishing.
The winery focuses on French varieties, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Zinfandel and Grenache in the lineup, crafted by veteran Temecula winemaker Marshall Stuart at around 7,500 cases. The tasting room is intimate by Temecula standards, with a wrap-around standing bar inside and spacious sun-drenched patios front and back looking over the vines and rolling hills.
Beyond the tasting room, the property includes a distillery, an event venue and estate lodging in the Vineyard House Estate, suites and Merlot cottages. Weekends bring live music and food trucks, outside food is welcome, and well-behaved leashed dogs are invited on the outdoor patios, giving the place the easygoing feel of a neighborhood hangout in the middle of wine country.
