About Kinsman Eades
Kinsman Eades is a small Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon project founded in 2016 by winemaker Nigel Kinsman and his wife Shae. The couple is based at 588 Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena, not Oakville, despite that name appearing in some listings of the brand, Kinsman Eades has no estate vineyard or tasting facility in Oakville.
Nigel trained under winemakers Françoise Peschon and Aaron Pott before starting his own label, and now sources Cabernet Sauvignon from a handful of well-known sites, including Rancho Pequeño and Vine Hill Ranch in Oakville, Geeslin Vineyard in Calistoga, the Rhadamanthus site on Diamond Mountain, and Sleeping Lady Vineyard in Yountville. Production is tiny, roughly 500 to 650 cases a year across several vineyard-designate bottlings, and the mailing list is currently closed to new members.
