About Kokomo Winery

Kokomo Winery is one of the most consistently excellent and genuinely welcoming mid-size producers in Dry Creek Valley. Owner and winemaker Erik Miller left his Indiana hometown of Kokomo for California wine country in the early 2000s — naming his winery after home and choosing a Coastal Cypress as his logo to mark the journey west.

Situated on 120 acres of prime Dry Creek Valley benchland at Timber Crest Farms, Kokomo produces over a dozen different varietals with an emphasis on single-vineyard designates from three Sonoma appellations: Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, and Alexander Valley. The partnership between winemaker Miller and grower Randy Peters — who farms the estate vineyards — ensures a direct farm-to-bottle connection that shows in every glass.

Kokomo has earned 90+ ratings across all their varietals since founding, along with Best of Class and Gold Medal awards at major competitions. The tasting room sits on a hilltop with bocce courts, picnic tables, and one of the most relaxed and genuinely friendly atmospheres in Healdsburg wine country.

Kokomo Winery presents a featured lineup that includes Peters Vineyard Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and Alexander Valley Chardonnay. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"Erik Miller's Midwest-to-wine-country story — named for his Indiana hometown, perched on Dry Creek Valley benchland with bocce courts, picnic grounds,"
