About L'Aventure Winery
L'Aventure is one of Paso Robles' most acclaimed and influential wineries, founded by French winemaker Stephan Asseo, who left an established career in Bordeaux for the freedom of the Willow Creek District's limestone hills. His l'aventure, the adventure, was to blend Bordeaux and Rhone varieties together, and the resulting cult wines, led by Estate Cuvee, Optimus, and Cote a Cote, helped define a bold, distinctly Paso style now admired worldwide.
