Mediterranean Vineyards, established in 2016 on Fairplay Road in Somerset, grows the grapes of France, Italy, Spain and Portugal in the Fair Play AVA, where the foothill climate genuinely mirrors the Old World coast. The estate has picked up 90 plus scores from Wine Enthusiast for its Mediterranean inspired reds.
This is one of Fair Play's most visit-friendly properties: bocce on the lawn, private cabanas, charcuterie, summer Medi Nights concerts and sunset views over the vines, about an hour from Sacramento.
