About Monochrome Wines
Monochrome broke one of wine country's unwritten rules: it makes only white wines, a single-color concept believed to be among the first of its kind in California when it launched in Paso Robles, a region famous for exactly the opposite. The lineup explores Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Marsanne and creative white blends with red-wine seriousness, layered fermentations and texture-driven technique.
The tasting room in Tin City turned the concept into a destination, giving white-wine devotees a full-flight experience no red-dominated region normally offers. In a sea of Paso reds, Monochrome is the deliberate outlier.
