About Nicora Winery
Nicora is the small-lot label of Nick Elliott, one of the young winemakers mentored by Torrin's Scott Hawley, and part of the generation that grew up inside Paso's modern Rhone movement. The house focuses on boldly expressive Rhone reds, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre-driven bottlings, from respected westside and regional vineyard sources.
Production stays intentionally small, with the wines earning a following for their unapologetic richness and polish. Nicora represents the Hawley mentor tree in full flower: consultant-trained technique applied to a personal, hustling label.
