About Neely Wine

Neely Wine sits where the Santa Cruz Mountains meet the Bay - an estate winery in Portola Valley just ten minutes from Stanford, yet a world away in feel. The wines come from the family's own Spring Ridge and Sausal Creek vineyards, artisanal bottlings of place poured in a spacious-yet-intimate Tasting Barn framed by bucolic hillside vistas.

The core experience is the seated Estate Tasting: five estate wines over roughly 90 minutes, $35 per person and comped with a $100 wine purchase, accompanied by optional chef's-choice small bites (pre-order recommended; no outside food). Larger parties can book a 2.5-hour Large Group Experience for up to 14 with six wines, a dedicated host, a vineyard tour, and ample small plates at $95. Saturdays at 10:30am add a Vineyard Hike and Winery Tour - a three-quarter-mile climb through vines and forest to the production winery and back, $40.

The Tasting Barn runs Tuesday through Saturday, 11 to 5:30, with reservations required though same-day spots are often available. Children are welcome (Saturdays 11-1:30, anytime other days), leashed dogs are welcome too, and private gatherings up to 45 can book the space. Call (650) 206-3213 or reserve online.
