About Oso Libre Winery
Oso Libre, the free bear, is an Adelaida District ranch estate where wine shares the land with a herd of Angus cattle, solar power and a working commitment to sustainability. The hillside property west of Paso Robles grows estate reds led by Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Rhone varieties on steep calcareous slopes.
The winery's Quixote-tinged branding and philanthropic streak, with giving programs tied to the ranch, add character to a tasting deck with big west-side views. Ranch beef and estate wine occasionally share the table at winery events, completing the rancho picture.
