About Arista Winery

Arista Winery is one of the most visually stunning and thoughtfully designed winery experiences on Westside Road. Founded in 2002 by Mark and Janice McWilliams, the estate combines world-class Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a garden setting of extraordinary beauty — Japanese-inspired landscaping with a koi pond, manicured lawns, and a tasting room that opens onto views of the estate vineyards.

The wine program is equally serious. Arista produces single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from estate and carefully selected RRV sites — including the DJ Lake Vineyard and the Ritchie Vineyard — that consistently earn 94–99 point scores. Winemaker Matt Courtney has built a house style of elegant restraint rather than power — wines that reward cellaring and complement food rather than impress in isolation.

The tasting experience is designed around the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi — the beauty found in imperfection and transience. Seasonal food accompaniments, garden walks, and the overall sense of calm make Arista one of the most complete and personally satisfying winery visits on the Westside Road corridor.

Arista Winery presents a featured lineup that includes DJ Lake Vineyard Pinot Noir, Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay, Mononi Vineyard Pinot Noir, and Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"One of Westside Road's most beautifully designed estate experiences — Japanese-inspired gardens, stunning koi pond, and single-vineyard Russian River "
