About One Way Winery
One Way Winery is a small, family-owned producer in Acampo, in the northeast corner of the Lodi appellation. The story began in 2001, when the owners bought a 1926 farmhouse and 18 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, added Pinot Grigio in 2004, and made wine for family and friends before applying for a winery license and releasing their first commercial vintage in 2009.
The estate is home to two labels, One Way Winery and Yancey Cellars, and the wines are small-lot and hand-crafted, with well-regarded Cabernet, Zinfandel, and Pinot Grigio at friendly price points. The welcome is personal, with the owner and winemaker often on hand.
It is a tiny, genuinely family-run operation, the kind of tucked-away spot that regulars describe as a must-visit and a hidden gem.
