About Paul Hobbs Winery
Paul Hobbs is one of the most internationally recognized figures in wine. Known as the 'Wine Whisperer,' he has served as a consulting winemaker for over 20 wineries on four continents, including Viña Cobos in Argentina, which he helped transform into one of South America's finest estates, and wineries in France, Austria, and Georgia.
His own Sebastopol winery, founded in 1991, produces some of California's most celebrated single-vineyard Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast sites. The Goldrock Estate Pinot Noir and the Richard Dinner Chardonnay are among the most collected and sought-after California wines of their type.
