About Quail Run Vineyards
Quail Run Vineyards is one of the Dry Creek Valley's most warmly regarded small family estates. Founded in 1987, the winery produces old-vine Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah from their Dry Creek Road estate vineyards with the kind of unhurried, direct hospitality that only a genuinely small family operation can maintain.
The Wine Road of Sonoma County includes Quail Run Vineyards as a member winery, and the estate is a regular participant in the Wine Road's barrel tasting and harvest season events that bring visitors to the Dry Creek Valley corridor each year. The picnic grounds, valley views, and dog-friendly welcome make it an ideal relaxed afternoon stop.
The wines are consistently honest and food-friendly, old-vine Zinfandel in particular showing the genuine character of the Dry Creek Valley appellation without the heavy extraction and oak that plagues many producers in the valley.
Quail Run Vineyards presents a featured lineup that includes Old Vine Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Chardonnay. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.
