About Rancho Maria Wines

Rancho Maria Wines is a small, family-owned winery built around a 10-acre estate vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley, with winemaker Sebastian Juarez tending it from grape to glass. The family made their first vintage in 2011 and have focused ever since on small-batch, estate-grown wines with a strong sense of place.

The lineup leans to reds, estate Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, a Stella Petite Sirah-Zin-Cabernet blend and Syrah, alongside a Crawford Creek Chardonnay, Viognier and a Rose of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. In recent years Rancho Maria moved its tasting room to Geyserville to be closer to its Dry Creek roots.

The experience is refreshingly conversational: rather than a rushed flight, the team engages guests in a relaxed, in-depth conversation about the family, the vineyard and the wines, often paired with a charcuterie board. Private estate tours and in-home tastings are also available, the kind of personal, unhurried visit that turns first-timers into regulars.

A small Dry Creek family estate offering relaxed, conversational tastings of its own small-batch, estate-grown wines.
