About Rivers-Marie
Rivers-Marie is one of California's most coveted and critically acclaimed micro-production wine programs. Thomas Brown, whose career as a consulting winemaker for over a dozen California cult labels has earned him consistent 95–100 point recognition across multiple estates, and Genevieve Welsh established Rivers-Marie in 2004 to produce wines under their own label with the same obsessive quality conviction that defines their consulting work.
The program produces extraordinary small quantities: Blue Slide Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain in Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from the Occidental Road corridor, and a small number of other micro-production expressions. The wines consistently earn 95–99 point recognition, and appear on the lists of the world's finest restaurants from the French Laundry to Le Bernardin.
