About Riverstar Vineyards
Riverstar Vineyards combines two navigational references — the river and the star — in a name that declares orientation to the natural landscape. The Salinas River watershed drains the El Pomar District's calcareous soils; the stars above the Paso Robles night sky (one of Central California's most visible, away from coastal fog) have guided travelers across this land for thousands of years.
The Creston Road estate produces Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah from calcareous El Pomar District estate vineyards with the landscape-referenced philosophy the name implies. The property has been in continuous wine production since 2001, developing the vine age and soil knowledge that multi-decade estate farming produces.
The daily walk-in experience on Creston Road is dog-friendly and family-welcoming — the river-and-star naming's natural character extended to the hospitality.
