About Rock Wall Wine Company
Rock Wall Wine Company is Kent Rosenblum's second act. After selling Rosenblum Cellars, the Zinfandel label that made his name, he started again at Alameda Point, the former naval air station across the estuary from Oakland, and the winery takes its name from the blast wall that still stands beside the old runway.
His daughter Shauna Rosenblum makes the wine, and the range leans on the Zinfandel the family is known for. The setting is a working hangar rather than an estate, with the San Francisco skyline across the water.
The tasting room is open daily from noon to 6pm, walk-ins are welcome and tasting starts at $15. Confirm current hours before a trip across the bridge.
