Salem Glen Winery

Salem Glen is a family-owned boutique winery established in 2006 on a farmstead in the Zumbro River valley, southwest of Rochester. The winery specializes in small batches of wine made from regionally grown grapes and other fruit, producing wines that reflect the unique characteristics of southeastern Minnesota's terroir. The farmstead setting is genuine and unhurried, and the tasting room offers a personal experience where the winemakers are often the ones pouring. Salem Glen has earned a strong local following in the Rochester area, particularly among visitors and patients at the nearby Mayo Clinic looking for a relaxing afternoon away from the medical campus. The winery's location makes it one of the closest wine experiences to Rochester, and it pairs well with Four Daughters in Spring Valley for a southeastern Minnesota wine day.
