About Schmidt Family Vineyards
Schmidt Family Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Applegate Valley near Grants Pass, producing estate wines from vineyards planted on the warm, south-facing slopes above the Applegate River. The Schmidt family grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo, Viognier, and several estate blends that reflect the Mediterranean climate of Southern Oregon's most acclaimed growing region.
The tasting room and events venue on Kubli Road features outdoor seating with vineyard views, a full kitchen serving seasonal fare, and regular live music that draws visitors from across the Rogue Valley. Schmidt Family has become one of the anchor wineries of the Applegate Valley wine trail.
