Sinor-LaVallee hyphenates two founding surnames — Sinor and LaVallee, representing Mike Sinor and Thekla LaVallee — into a permanent partnership declaration. Two people, two names, one hyphen: the combination is the project.
Mike Sinor has been one of the Central Coast's most respected winemakers for decades, with extensive experience at San Luis Obispo County estates before launching his personal label. The Sinor-LaVallee program focuses on Edna Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the cool maritime San Luis Obispo County appellation with a natural-leaning winemaking philosophy: native yeast fermentation, minimal additives, low sulfur.
Wine Advocate has scored Sinor-LaVallee's Edna Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at 92–95 points, recognizing both the quality of the vineyard sourcing and Mike Sinor's precision in the cellar.
