About St. Josef's Winery
St. Josef's Winery is one of the Willamette Valley's pioneering family estates, founded by the Fleischmann family in the late 1970s on rolling farmland outside Canby. The estate produces a wide range of wines including Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and old-vine offerings from some of the region's earliest plantings, all poured in a European-style tasting room surrounded by gardens, ponds, and vineyard views.
The grounds have a festive, old-world character, and the winery is known for its harvest celebrations and grape stomp events that draw visitors from across the Portland area. It is a relaxed, family-friendly stop that feels closer to a Bavarian country estate than a polished tasting bar.
