About Star Lane Vineyard
Star Lane is the Dierberg family's Happy Canyon estate, the warm eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley where their mountain-backed ranch grows some of Santa Barbara's most serious Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The family's cooler-climate Pinot and Chardonnay grow at their Dierberg vineyards, giving the twin houses both ends of the county's spectrum.
Star Lane Cabernet proved Happy Canyon could stand with California's best Bordeaux country, structured wines from a spectacular canyon-mouth winery. The county's Cabernet argument, well made.
