About Tabora Farm and Winery
Tabora Farm and Winery brings a touch of South Africa to the Finger Lakes, and it is three businesses in one: a winery, a from-scratch bakery, and a deli and market.
Every Tabora wine is one hundred percent estate grown, harvested and produced from more than two hundred acres of vines. The portfolio leans on native and hybrid varieties, including Riesling, Cayuga White and Niagara, with vinifera plantings expanding more recently. The winemaking approach is minimal intervention, aiming for clean, crisp and concentrated wines.
Visiting
Indoor wine tastings are reserved, and the winery recommends booking at least a week ahead. All visitors must be 21 or over. Leave time for the food side: the deli turns out sandwiches, salads and quiches made fresh daily, with staples like meatloaf and chicken pot pie alongside South African bobotie, plus gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The bakery is a destination in its own right.
Tabora Farm and Winery is a member of the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, which links wineries from Victor down through Canandaigua to Naples.
