About Textbook Vineyards
Textbook Vineyards is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 2009. Jonathan and Susan Pey's 2004 Oakville label, named after their own reaction tasting the first barrel: "textbook Oakville Cab.". Sold out of the family SUV, in TEXTBOOK's early years, the Peys hand-delivered wine themselves between their kids' soccer practices and parent-teacher conferences before the brand grew nationally.
Neighbors with Screaming Eagle and Harlan, TEXTBOOK's Oakville fruit comes from the Holmes and Vyborny vineyards, sitting directly beside some of Napa Valley's most legendary cult wine properties. A name born from a single tasting, founder Jonathan Pey coined the winery's name on the spot after tasting an early barrel and declaring it a "textbook Oakville Cab.".
We have not found a published schedule for routine public tasting at Textbook Vineyards. The wines are sold direct or through the trade, and any visit would be by arrangement, so contact the producer before planning one.
