The lineup at West Wines is distinctive: a Viognier and the estate Alix Chardonnay for whites, followed by the producer’s signature reds, the Italian-influenced Opera Cuvee (Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese), the Bordeaux-style Crest Cuvee (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot), and a deep library of single-variety Cabernet Sauvignon reaching back as far as 2010. Older vintages remain pourable in the tasting room, a rare offering at this scale.
Visitors can choose between two seated flights: the West Flight ($30), which spans the full portfolio from Viognier through current-release Cabernet, and the Vintage Cabernet Flight ($45), a library-focused tasting featuring multiple vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon alongside the Opera and Crest Cuvees. One tasting fee is waived per bottle (or red bottle) purchased.
