About Wild Coyote Estate Winery

Wild Coyote Estate Winery is named for the coyotes that inhabit the Willow Creek Road property — wild animals whose presence on the estate's Adelaida District land is both practical reality and philosophical declaration. The coyote is a trickster figure in multiple indigenous American traditions: clever, adaptive, wild, and impossible to fully domesticate. Applied to wine, the name declares an estate that remains connected to its wild landscape.

Hanna and Martin Zucker's estate is among the Adelaida District's more eclectic offerings: a winery, a Bed & Breakfast (for visitors who want to sleep among the vines and potentially hear the coyotes at night), and an estate that produces Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel from calcareous limestone west-side Paso Robles vineyards.

The coyotes are still there. The wines are their neighbors.
