Wilson Creek Winery is the English-heritage family estate of the Wilson family — their surname on the Temecula Valley's most visited and nationally recognized winery, famous for its Almond Sparkling Wine (the Almond Champagne), which has become one of California's best-selling sparkling wines and a Southern California bridal shower and brunch institution.
Bill and Rosie Wilson established the Rancho California Road estate in 1996, building a wine and event destination that now includes a restaurant, event venue, and the creek-side grounds that the Wilson Creek name declares. The creek itself is the topographic feature that animates the estate's landscape, its course through the vineyard providing the drainage and moisture character that shapes the Wilson Creek terroir.
