About Winter's Hill Estate
Winter's Hill Estate is a sustainably farmed vineyard and winery in the Dundee Hills, growing Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling on 35 acres of volcanic Jory soils at the heart of Oregon's most celebrated appellation. The estate has been in the Winter family since 1961, with the vineyard planted in 1990 on south-facing slopes that catch afternoon sun and cool evening breezes from the Van Duzer Corridor. The drive up to Winter's Hill leads through vines to its view of the valley below, a family estate on the Willamette Valley Birding Trail with picnic grounds and restored oak savannah.
The tasting room sits among the vines with views stretching to the Coast Range, offering guided tastings that connect each wine to the specific vineyard block where it was grown. Winter's Hill has earned recognition for wines that balance Dundee Hills richness with bright acidity and a refined elegance.
