About Wolff Vineyards
Wolff Vineyards farms one of the Edna Valley's treasures: old-vine Chardonnay dating to the mid-1970s, among the appellation's earliest plantings, on a sweeping hillside estate along Orcutt Road. Jean-Pierre Wolff, a Belgian-born engineer turned vintner, and his wife Elke purchased the property in 1999 and expanded it with Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petite Sirah and the rare Teroldego.
The Wolffs are known for hands-on sustainable farming, including creek restoration and erosion control work that earned regional recognition, and for a relaxed, family-run tasting deck overlooking the vines. The old-vine Chardonnay remains the signature, carrying the deep concentration that only mature vines deliver.
