It brings together three celebrated winemakers, Jean Hoefliger, Aaron Pott and Michel Rolland, who share overlapping philosophies while keeping their own distinct styles.
The label is a passion project born of friendship, admiration and respect for the craft, with the three winemakers working together on a small range of Napa Valley wines - including a Cabernet Sauvignon and a red table wine - that blend their individual imprints into a single collaborative expression. The name and the wines both play on that idea of three parts making a unified whole.
3/Thirds is not open to the public and has no tasting room; it operates as a small allocation label. Anyone interested in the wines should join the winery's mailing list or seek them through fine-wine retailers rather than plan a visit.
