About Amici Cellars
Amici Cellars was founded by John Harris, Bob Shepard, and Melissa Devore, three partners who bonded over food, wine, and repeat trips to Napa Valley before building a winery in the Palisades foothills near Calistoga. Devore, a Rice University-trained chemical engineer with an MBA, previously spent eleven years as Vice President of Wine Buying at Total Wine & More before joining Amici in 2017.
The winemaking team of Tony Biagi, Matt Courtney, and Dante West sources fruit from long-standing grower relationships across Napa and Sonoma, including well-known sites like Beckstoffer To Kalon, Hyde Vineyard, and Cimarossa, to produce single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
