About Banshee Wines

Banshee Wines is one of the most genuinely fun and refreshing tasting room experiences in Healdsburg. Founded in 2009, the brand recently opened a new Alexander Valley tasting room just a few miles from downtown Healdsburg, inviting visitors to 'celebrate with us, check out our fresh new fits and select your favorite vinyl to spin for your listening enjoyment and wine vibing perfection.'

The approach is deliberately approachable and joyful, a counterpoint to the sometimes-intimidating formality of Healdsburg's more established wine estates. But the wines themselves are serious and terroir-driven: single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from prestigious coastal California sites that show genuine winemaking ambition behind the playful exterior.

Banshee has built a loyal following among younger wine drinkers and anyone who finds traditional wine culture unnecessarily stuffy. The combination of genuinely excellent wines, a great atmosphere, and prices that don't require a second mortgage makes Banshee one of the most recommended Healdsburg experiences for first-time visitors.

At its Alexander Valley, Sonoma County location, Banshee Wines presents a featured lineup that includes Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Mordecai Cabernet Sauvignon, and Wailing Banshee Red Blend. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"Alexander Valley's most playful new tasting room, a vinyl-spinning, wine-vibing experience in a converted space near Healdsburg with terroir-driven C"
