B. Wise Vineyards

B. Wise Vineyards is one of Sonoma Valley's most visually spectacular and critically accomplished estate wineries. Bradley and Jenny Wise established their 15-acre estate on Moon Mountain above Kenwood in 2010, planting Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah in the volcanic soils of the Moon Mountain District AVA, the steep, dramatic hillside terrain between Sonoma Valley and the Napa ridge that produces wines of extraordinary concentration and distinctiveness.

The estate's most celebrated feature is its panoramic view: on clear days, the B. Wise tasting room deck looks across four counties, Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and San Francisco Bay visible in the distance. It is one of the most spectacular single viewpoints in California wine country, and the wines produced from the volcanic soils directly below are worthy of the setting.

Philippe Melka, who also consults at Moon Mountain Estate, Kamen, and Peter Michael, brings his mountain Cabernet expertise to the B.
