About Barrel Necessities at Randall Standish Vineyards
Barrel Necessities is a small winery operating at Randall Standish Vineyards, where the vineyards have been in the same family for more than fifty years. Co-owners Thomas Brahm and Melissa Woolley obtained their farm winery licence and began producing under the Barrel Necessities label.
The lineup currently runs to five varietals, with three more planned. Wines are available to sample, as a flight, or by the glass, which makes it an easy and unhurried stop rather than a formal seated tasting.
Visiting
Open Saturdays from noon to 4pm, and seven days a week through harvest. The winery is on Route 21 outside Canandaigua. Hours are limited, so check before making the drive.
Barrel Necessities at Randall Standish Vineyards is a member of the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, which links wineries from Victor down through Canandaigua to Naples.
