About Calivines Winery & Olive Mill
Calivines is the wine side of the Coldani family's Thornton Road operation in Lodi, which also produces Calivirgin extra virgin olive oils and Lodi Olive Oil. The family has farmed the San Joaquin Delta for more than a century; Steve and Jeanne Coldani founded Coldani Olive Ranch in 2005, and the next generation added the Calivines wine label at the shared winery, olive mill and tasting facility.
The result is a two-in-one tasting: small-lot wines alongside olive oils milled on site, served inside the tasting room or on a large outdoor patio with regular live music. Guided wine tastings and olive-oil flights are both offered, and food-and-wine pairings using Calivirgin products are available with notice.
