About Cerulean Wine
Cerulean Wine is a family-owned Columbia Gorge winery based in Hood River, Oregon, founded in 2007 as Cerulean Skies Winery. Its estate Acadia Vineyard grows about 23 acres of organic grapes on Underwood Mountain, roughly 1,000 feet above the Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge AVA, on the Washington side of the gorge, with sweeping views toward Mount Hood.
The winery is known for old-world-style, food-friendly wines made from that cool-climate, volcanic-soil estate: award-winning Tempranillo and Pinot Noir alongside Italian varieties like Barbera, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, plus Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and rose. The approach is hands-on and low-intervention, with the family personally farming and picking the fruit.
Cerulean pours in a small downtown Hood River tasting room and courtyard at 304 Oak Street. Hours are seasonal, typically weekends in winter and more days in summer, with appointments available for small groups; confirm current hours and reservation details with the winery before visiting.
