About Couleur Wine Company
Couleur Wine Company takes its name from the French word for color — couleur — declaring wine as something painted as much as made. Each variety is a different color on the palette: the pale ruby of Grenache Rosé, the deep garnet of Grenache Rouge, the inky purple of Petite Sirah, the straw yellow of Chardonnay. The winery makes wine the way a painter approaches color: with intentionality, with attention to how different elements interact, and with an artist's sense of when the composition is complete.
The Pine Street estate in Paso Robles produces a range of Rhône and Bordeaux varieties at accessible walk-in pricing, with the artistically engaged philosophy the French color-naming suggests. Each wine in the lineup is a different color expression of what Paso Robles calcareous east-side soils can produce.
The daily walk-in experience is dog-friendly, picnic-welcoming, and family-hospitable — the painter's palette extended as Central Coast generosity.
