About Danza del Sol Winery
Danza del Sol Winery sits on a 40 acre estate along the De Portola Wine Trail in Temecula Valley, planted with Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc back in 1972, the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in the valley. Software entrepreneur Robert Olson bought the property in 2010 from founder Dr. William Filsinger and brought in winemaker Justin Knight to build the Mediterranean-style program that carries the name today.
Now owned by Temecula residents Ken and Tina Smith of the Kentina Hospitality Group, the winery produces more than 10,000 cases a year, sold only through the tasting room and online. Guests taste on a patio looking out over rolling vineyard hills, open daily from 11am to 6pm with walk-ins welcome.
