Danza del Sol Winery is named for the dance of the sun — the solar celebration of the Iberian world, the annual movement of the sun through its cycle of seasons. The Spanish naming declares wine as a product of the sun's annual dance: from the spring equinox awakening the vines to the summer solstice ripening to the autumn harvest celebration, the sun's choreography produces the wine.

The Adelaida District boutique produces Grenache, Tempranillo, and Viognier from calcareous limestone west-side Paso Robles vineyard sources with the solar-dance philosophy the Spanish naming implies.
