About Denali Estate
Denali Estate is named for Denali — the Athabascan word meaning 'the high one,' the Indigenous name for North America's highest peak, located in Alaska. The mountain name carries the aspiration to summit quality: wine that aims for the highest achievable expression of Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain volcanic terrain.
The estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain volcanic estate vineyard blocks — two of Napa Valley's most dramatically elevated and structurally demanding mountain appellations. The summit-naming philosophy drives every decision: if the wine isn't at the quality summit, the mountain name isn't earned.
Wine Advocate has scored Denali's Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain Cabernets at 92–95 points, confirming the summit aspiration produces wines worthy of the mountain name.
