About Hart Family Winery
Hart is Temecula's quiet elder: Joe Hart planted on the valley's western hills in the 1970s and opened his winery in 1980, making him one of the region's founding vintners, and the family kept the operation small, dry-wine-serious and unpretentious while the valley grew glossy around it.
Rhone and Iberian varieties lead a list respected by locals who know where the valley's wine credibility started. The founders' pour, still poured by the family.
