About Jean Edwards Cellars
Jean Edwards Cellars was founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Karen and John Troisi, retired Unilever executives who first discussed owning a wine brand during a 1980s visit to Napa Valley near Silver Oak Cellars. The winery's name blends their own middle names, Jean (Karen's) and Edwards (John's), and its tasting room operates from the Silverado Wine & Arts District at 1021 Atlas Peak Road in Napa, near Silverado Resort, not in St. Helena.
Winemaker Kian Tavakoli has crafted every vintage since the inaugural 2004 release, originally at Crushpad in San Francisco before moving to a Napa-area facility. Fruit is sourced from vineyards including Stagecoach Vineyard and Rutherford for Cabernet Sauvignon, Atlas Peak for Syrah, and Sonoma Coast for Chardonnay, with annual production averaging roughly 600 cases across Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, and Syrah.
