About Jigar Wines
Jigar Wines is a small, family-owned boutique winery in downtown Forestville, in the cool Green Valley corner of the Russian River Valley. It is very much a one-person artisan project, built around founder Jigar's fascination with showcasing the terroir of Sonoma County's finest sites through small-production, single-vineyard winemaking.
Pinot Noir leads the way, including a Graham Family Vineyard bottling from Green Valley that has taken Double Golds, alongside Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and the Raja Cuvee red blend. The wines are made in genuinely small lots and lean toward approachable, well-balanced reds, and the winery has built a loyal following through its friendly, personal style.
The tasting room is a cozy storefront right on Forestville's short main street, an easy, unpretentious stop among the town's restaurants and other tasting rooms. Jigar's wine club comes in three tiers, Karma, Bliss and Euphoria, and members are treated to events featuring food and live music.
